My first thought this week was to take a photo of an understated undertaker but I was not prepared to find one. We did attend the funeral of a friend’s father on Sautrday but that was not the place to pull out the big camera. We did have time to go to a cemetery near the church before the funeral which is where I took this photo.
I chose this stone because it was so small and hard to spot between larger markers. And I like the fact that even though this marker is front and center, my eye is pulled to the stones behind and the grass to the left.
